Frank also serves as Vice Chairman of The Advisory Board Company, a global research, technology, and consulting firm that serves over 4,100 leading organizations across health care and higher education. During Frank’s tenure as both its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The Advisory Board completed an initial public offering and grew to $450M+ in annual revenues with over 2,500 employees and $2.0B+ in market capitalization. Along with the boards of Evolent Health and The Advisory Board, Frank serves on the board of Head-Royce School. A native Californian, Frank received a BA with High Honors in Political Economies of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

    Seth oversees overall company strategy, product design, sales, marketing and business development for Evolent Health. Prior to Evolent Health, Seth was the Executive Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning at The Advisory Board Company, where he oversaw partnerships and acquisitions, key elements of new product development and other strategic growth initiatives. Prior to joining The Advisory Board, Seth was an Associate at Bain Capital Partners, where he helped execute the 2006 buyout of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). Seth started his career as an analyst in the Washington, D.C. office of McKinsey & Company. He earned a BS from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with Highest Honors, and his MBA from the Harvard Business School.

    Tom leads operations for Evolent Health. Tom brings a blend of valuable experience to Evolent, having run growth businesses, built organizations, developed senior leaders and undergone clinical training as a psychotherapist. In the course of his 20-year career, he has seen several businesses in the consulting, business services and technology sectors through periods of significant growth. He has held executive roles with The Advisory Board Company, leading the company’s consulting division and overseeing operations for the Advisory Board’s business intelligence division. Tom also served as General Manager for Network Services, a management services organization within HealthSouth Corporation responsible for managing the contracting, utilization management, claims and network for risk-based and workers’ compensation contracts for HealthSouth. In addition, he served as the Vice President of Managed Care and Payer Relationships for HealthSouth Corporation in the Southeast. Tom earned a BA in Government from Harvard and an MA in Mental Health Counseling from George Washington University.

    Seth leads Evolent Health’s transformation practice and contributes to the clinical innovation strategy. He most recently served as the Chief Transformation Officer for the Geisinger Health System prior to joining Evolent. His responsibilities included providing business leadership to large-scale innovation projects within the health system (e.g., Geisinger Accelerated Performance Program) and external consulting for Geisinger Ventures. Prior to Geisinger, Seth was Senior Vice President, Strategic Services for The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Seth led CHOP’s proton therapy development initiative, national contracting for tertiary services and strategic plan development and management. Before assuming the strategic services role, Seth had executive responsibilities for CHOP-affiliated Children’s Health Net, a pediatric managed care organization that developed and managed a globally capitated 100+ PCP network under contract with the dominant regional HMO. Seth came to CHOP after a 9-year consulting career with a large national health care firm. His practice areas included clinical resource management, managed care, service line strategy, hospital redesign and strategy.

Prior to joining Evolent, Robin was part of Walgreens’ Health and Wellness Employer Segment where she worked closely with Fortune 100 clients to ensure they received value from their workplace health, pharmacy, and wellness services. Previously, Robin worked for HealthTech, a nonprofit organization that forecasted the impact of emerging technology on healthcare delivery, where she ran the Partnership Department, cultivating and managing partnerships with the leading hospital systems and health plans. Prior to joining HealthTech, she worked as an Associate at The Lewin Group, a healthcare research and consulting firm. At The Lewin Group, Robin focused on health policy with specific emphasis on population health and quality of care. Robin received her MBA with honors from Harvard Business School and Master of Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.

    Asit leads the teams responsible for crafting market-leading, value-based business and operational strategies for Evolent Health’s health system partners. Asit’s expertise is in macroeconomic issues in healthcare, particularly health care cost trends, the drivers of those trends and efforts to address them. Prior to joining Evolent Health, Asit spent over 7 years as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, working with clients across the healthcare value chain, including payers, providers and manufacturers, both abroad and in the U.S. His most recent three years at McKinsey were spent with Objective Health, a unit of McKinsey dedicated to serving community hospitals. Asit served hospitals on strategic issues, including understanding the impact of macroeconomic trends on the hospitals’ business models and evaluating options to evolve the business model in light of payment reform. He also worked with them on traditional performance improvement, including throughput, supply chain, physician alignment, and service line growth.

    Shandy is responsible for the strategic direction, tactical execution and maintenance of all IT assets at Evolent Health. In this role, he is responsible for the commercialization of the core platform, data analytics and reporting and introduction of tools. Prior to Evolent, Shandy worked at WellPoint, where he was responsible for the analysis, design and technology teams for Consumer, Provider, Employer, Broker and Individual/Shopper portals. Shandy joined WellPoint via its acquisition of Lumenos, a pioneer in consumer-driven health care, which achieved many technological ‘firsts’ in the industry. At Lumenos, Shandy was responsible for all technology platforms including spending account (HSA/HRA) management systems, claims systems, provider management systems, content management and data warehouse. Prior to Lumenos, Shandy held positions at Congressional Quarterly, Inc., Winstar, Inc. and the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

    Carolyn leads the team dedicated to operationalizing value based payer contracts and health plans on behalf of health system clients. She oversees all aspects of centralized health plan services and Medicare/Medicaid programs. Prior to joining Evolent Health, Carolyn was the Chief Operating Officer of UnitedHealth Group’s (UHG) Community and State plan in New Jersey. As COO, Carolyn was accountable for driving a financial and cultural turnaround of plan performance in Medicare and Medicaid with combined membership of over 400,000 beneficiaries. Previously at UHG, Carolyn was Vice President of Medicare Special Needs Plans (SNPs), serving as the national product lead for health plans tailored to individuals with chronic illnesses and limited incomes. Earlier in her career, Carolyn was a management consultant both in the Strategic Change Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers and in the health and life sciences division of Silverline Technologies, an IT professional services firm. She earned her undergraduate degree at Harvard University and her MBA in health care management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

    Beth supports defining and implementing priority clinical interventions and population health management across Evolent Health’s clients, while supporting physician engagement and accountability. Prior to Evolent, Beth was the Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President for the Fallon Community Healthplan, managing a range of health initiatives supporting value-based care and network management. Beth brings over 15 years of managed care experience from Wellpoint, Anthem BCBS, Medspan and ProHealth Physicians. Beth is board certified in Family Practice medicine. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her Masters in Engineering and Environmental Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

    Nicky McGrane serves as Chief Financial Officer of Evolent Health. Nicky has a deep background in finance with over twenty-five experience across banking, private equity and operations. Prior to joining Evolent, Nicky spent fifteen years at MidOcean Partners, a middle market private equity firm. During his time at MidOcean he also served as interim CEO of portfolio company, Sbarro where he led the Company through a financial and operational restructuring. Prior to joining MidOcean, Nicky worked as a consultant at Bain & Company and in investment banking at Kidder, Peabody. Nicky is an Irish native and earned his undergraduate degree at Trinity College Dublin and received an MBA from Harvard Business School where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.

In his capacity at Seton, Gary oversaw the clinical agenda for Seton’s Health Plan. Earlier in his career Gary owned and operated a large physician group that was acquired by Seton Healthcare.

    Chad leads Evolent Health’s information technology group and joins Evolent from Access Mediquip, where he was responsible for strategy and technology. He previously spent five years at WellPoint, where he was responsible for consumer innovation for the nation’s largest health benefits company. Under his direction, the innovation team demonstrated a capacity to create, test and bring new ideas to market quickly. Before leading the innovation team, Chad was Chief Technology Officer for Lumenos, one of the pioneers of consumer-driven health plans. His responsibilities included strategic direction of Lumenos’ award-winning online health site for consumers to manage their health and health expenses, a proprietary claims payment solution designed specifically for health reimbursement accounts and health savings accounts and a centralized data warehouse. Chad previously worked for Congressional Quarterly, Inc., and was also Assistant Vice President of Information Technology at the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

    Lisa is responsible for defining and implementing priority clinical interventions, IT workflows, physician leadership and alignment programs and developing appropriate clinical solution recommendations for Evolent Health’s partners. Prior to Evolent, Lisa was the Medical Director of Population Health Management at Clinovations where she led customers in leveraging technology and clinical workflow to create a comprehensive population health vision and strategy. Prior to Clinovations, Lisa was a Director at Avalere Health where she supported the Health Economics and Outcomes Research group through her clinical expertise and health services research background. Currently, Lisa is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University where she participates in resident training and practices as a hospitalist. She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Chicago and earned her MPH from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy.

Berk has primary responsibility for developing a national network of deep strategic partnerships with health systems and providers focused on changing the way healthcare is delivered. Berk has 30 years of experience building and leading organizations to deliver outsourcing, consulting, managed services and technology-based solutions to the healthcare industry. He holds significant experience in operations, administration, sales, marketing, mergers and acquisitions for payer, provider and pharmaceutical sectors. As a founding member of Perot Systems Healthcare Division (acquired by Dell in 2011), he played a key role in building a $3B global leader in healthcare services. At Dell, Berk was President of the $3B, 11,000 person global Healthcare Services Division. Most recently, Berk was President and CEO of Accelion, Inc. an Accretive, LLC funded company founded in 2010. Under Berk’s leadership, Accelion developed leading edge processes, methodologies, and technology to maximize health systems’ ability to deliver high quality care while gaining capabilities to participate in new population health based models. Berk holds a BS in Business and Computer Science from the University of Kansas.

Prior to this, John was a Principal with Accretive LLC, a private equity firm, where he led investments in the care management and insurance sectors. John also served as a Director at The Advisory Board Company and a Principal with Computer Sciences Corporation (formerly APM, Inc.) where he led numerous provider strategy, operations, and IT engagements. John earned his MD from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and his BA from Williams College.

Dave began his career working with Fortune 500 clients as an organizational development consultant at HumanR, Inc. He received his Master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology from George Mason University.

    Jonathan Weinberg serves as Evolent Health’s General Counsel and is the chief legal officer of the company. Prior to joining Evolent, Jonathan was a Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Coventry Health Care, Inc., where he supervised many of the operational functions of the Coventry legal department including mergers and acquisitions, federal and state regulatory issues, provider contracting, and Medicare and Medicaid issues. While at Coventry, Jonathan also was in charge of the risk management department. Prior to joining Coventry, Jonathan was an associate and then partner at Epstein Becker and Green, P.C. in the firm’s health care practice, specializing in managed care issues. Jonathan received his BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his JD from the Catholic University of America.

    Steve is responsible for strategy, marketing and health system partnership development for Evolent Health. Prior to joining Evolent, Steve served as the founding CEO of Medley Health, a venture-backed technology and services provider for physician practices. Previously, Steve was the President of Health Integrated, a leading provider of health management solutions that improves clinical outcomes and quality measures, resulting in lower health care costs. During his tenure at Health Integrated, the company launched award-winning care management programs targeting high-risk and chronically ill patients, driving revenue growth at a compound annual rate of 52%. Prior to Health Integrated, Steve was Executive Vice President of Neoforma (Nasdaq: NEOF, acquired by GHX), which provided transaction and analytics services to 1,500 hospitals and more than 300 top medical and pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors. Steve joined Neoforma’s executive team after its acquisition of Pharos Technologies—a company he co-founded. Steve holds a BS in Finance from Indiana University and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.

    As Market President in Indiana, Greg brings a broad experience in defining and executing major change initiatives, and will continue to build on Evolent Health’s early success at IU Health. Greg has 20 years of leadership experience with the last 11 years spent leading Medicare and Medicaid health plans. Prior to joining Evolent, Greg was President for Community Care Alliance of Illinois, a provider-owned and sponsored start-up health plan serving Dual Eligibles and Seniors and Persons with Disabilities in greater Chicago. Before this, he was Vice President and General Manager of Universal American Insurance (UAM) responsible for Indiana and Oklahoma health plan operations. During his tenure there Greg led the launch of UAM’s Medicare Advantage HMO product line in Indiana and the expansion of the PPO product into 89 new counties in six markets across Indiana, Ohio, and Oklahoma. Greg has held positions of increasing scope and responsibility with several major insurers and his experience extends across every health plan functional area including; Sales and Account Management, Finance, Network Development, Provider Relations, Compliance, Claims, Member Services, Information Systems, Quality Assurance and Medical Management. Following graduation from Virginia Tech with a BA in History, Greg was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant and served as a Communications and Electronics Officer in the United States Marine Corps with the 6th Marine Regiment and overseas with 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit.

Frazer has worked in strategic and operations leadership positions for the past 15 years. Prior to joining Evolent, Frazer served as Chief Executive Officer for WhiteGlove Health, a population health management firm providing comprehensive health services to self-insured employers and health plans. Previously, Frazer was co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer for Silvercare Solutions. Silvercare was the one of the largest providers of comprehensive health care management services to the senior population in the United States serving 40,000 beds across six states. Prior to Silvercare, Frazer acted in several senior-level roles for Healthways Inc. and Dollar General Corporation. Frazer received his MBA from Vanderbilt University and his BS from The University of the South. He is a board member of Leadership Health Care and a 2012 recipient of the “Health Care Heroes Award” from the Nashville Health Care Council.

    Rob currently serves as the Market President for Evolent Health partner health systems in Tennessee. Prior to joining Evolent, Rob was Vice President of Product Management for Healthways, where he was responsible for product management and marketing for the health plan, employer, and health system verticals. Rob also founded and spearheaded Healthways’ efforts in delivering population health services to health systems and physicians to support the transformation from fee for service to value-based reimbursement. Prior to Healthways, Rob founded ARCUS Financial Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of WellPoint formed to aid physicians and patients with the growing challenges presented by consumer-directed healthcare. Rob began his career as a management consultant with McKinsey and Company, advising the senior management of Fortune 500 organizations on growth strategy, new market entry, operations optimization, and mergers and acquisitions. He earned a BBA., summa cum laude, from The University of Texas at Austin, a Masters of Computer and Information Technology from The Moore School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to Evolent, Mike was the state president for WellCare of Kentucky where he led the development for a new health plan that doubled in size within 18 months to 230,000 covered lives. Previously, Mike served as chief operating officer of WellCare’s South Division. Mike joined WellCare in 2005 as a regional vice president of finance and helped oversee the start-up and development of WellCare’s Georgia health plan, which eventually grew to become the company’s largest Medicaid market. Mike earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Louisville, and also holds a Master of Health Care Administration from Xavier University.

Aaron has 20+ years of insurance/managed care experience with extensive knowledge of health plan operations for commercial group, individual, Medicaid and Medicare product lines. Aaron has direct and indirect P&L experience with health plan businesses representing over 300,000 members and revenue in excess of $3 billion. Prior to Evolent Health, Aaron spent 10 years with Coventry Health Care, Inc. in various leadership roles, including C- level market positions in subsidiary entities within Coventry representing Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid lines of business. This included roles such as the Regional President of Coventry’s Medicaid business in Kansas, Chief Operating Officer for all lines of business in a five-state region in the Midwest and as the Corporate General Manager for Private Fee For Service (PFFS) and Coordinated Care Plan (CCP) Medicare Advantage products nationally for Coventry. Aaron also held various leadership roles at Doctors Health Plan, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida and HCA of Florida. Aaron has a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of North Florida.

    Jerry is the senior executive for Evolent Health operations in several markets. Previously, Jerry was the founding President/CEO of Health First Health Plans (HFHP), a nationally regarded provider-sponsored health insurer. HFHP served Medicare and Commercial clients and was recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top health plans in the country. Under Jerry’s leadership, CMS recognized HFHP’s quality and customer satisfaction with “4.5 stars” and the National Committee for Quality Assurance awarded HFHP with an “Excellent” rating. HFHP grew to $400 million in annual revenue and delivered 11 consecutive years of profitability. Jerry also served as the President/CEO of Holmes Regional Medical Center, the tertiary flagship hospital of the Health First System. Jerry also was the Executive Vice President/Chief Strategy Officer of the Health First parent company. Prior to his work at Health First, Jerry was the SVP of Strategic Development at VHA and was the SVP of Corporate Services at Orlando Regional Medical Center (now Orlando Health).

    Aaron is Evolent Health’s President for the Mid-Atlantic market, which includes Washington, D.C. northward through New York. Aaron joined Evolent from UnitedHealth Group, where he held various leadership positions within UnitedHealthcare and Optum through his over eight-year tenure. His responsibilities included sales, operations and provider network. His last position at UHG was National Vice President of Product Strategy and Network Operations for where he led efforts to redesign reimbursement methodology and improve provider relationships which led to greater provider satisfaction, better member outcomes and business growth. His responsibility included management of $1.5B in network medical spend and top line growth of a $1B business, which included diversifying its product portfolio through an acquisition. Aaron also held positions with provider organizations, including his eleven years in progressive leadership roles at a New Jersey urgent care and occupational health provider. The last position he held was as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, where he pioneered an onsite employer medical business and services that added value to patients, payers and commercial customers.

Immediately prior to joining Evolent, Bob was a Strategy and Operations Market Lead for Aetna’s Accountable Care Solution Division where he was responsible for overseeing relationships with Aetna’s ACO Provider Partners offering Medicare and Commercial Products in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Bob was CEO of Health Partners of Philadelphia, a $950 Million provider-owned Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Medicare DSNP plan in Southeastern Pennsylvania, where he led the effort that increased the Plan’s market value to more than $249 Million in 2005, and improved the Plan’s comparative Medicaid ranking to #23 in the US and #1 in Pennsylvania.
