Lydia Stone is Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer at Evolent. She brings a deep background in accounting with 20 years of experience across technology, health care, banking, real estate, mutual funds and government contracting. As Chief Accounting Officer, Lydia oversees the accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, financial systems and audit functions. She leads Evolent’s accounting operations and advises the company on corporate transactions, such as financing and M&A. Prior to joining Evolent, Lydia served in leadership roles at BAE Systems to include accounting policies, financial controls, system implementation, establishment of a shared services center and budgeting. She began her career at Ernst & Young LLP where she provided assurance services for a variety of clients. Lydia received her master’s degree in accounting from the College of William and Mary. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
