Position summary

 

The Workday System Administrator is a new and unique role at Evolent Health.  In this role, you will take ownership of the enhancement and expansion of Evolent Health’s HR and Financial ERP system “Workday”.  You will collaborate with functional leads from various areas and be the technical, go-to person to support the Workday system as well as to develop and implement new Workday functionality. This includes system administration (e.g. system security and user roles), creating and maintaining business processes and controls, conducting and maintaining data integrations to optimize workflow and operational efficiency, ad-hoc reporting and dashboard creation to support team and company-wide decision-making, managing system upgrades, and providing technical support.This role requires professional and ethical handling of sensitive and confidential personal and financial information (e.g. compensation and benefits).

 

Essential functions

 

•Provide technical support for areas such as data integration, authentication, configuring business processes, and security

•Contribute input on the Workday roadmap and lead execution

•Play an integral role in responding to organizational needs with Workday solutions

•Lead the introduction of additional features and functionality including design, testing, and implementation

•Manage System security - Create and update user roles.

•Maintain, and troubleshoot data integrations with other systems including third party connector.

•Develop Workday reporting and configure dashboards for various teams

•Conduct routine audits to maintain data integrity and correct issues

•Manage Workday upgrade cycles to ensure current operation is not impacted

•Keep abreast of new features and work with project team to identify, drive and implement new features

•Ability to work with cross functional teams to drive projects, gather requirements, provide development estimates and meet expected delivery timelines

•Ability to approach and thoroughly analyze a problem through a logical, systematic, and sequential process

•Able to remain calm under stress and can quickly adjust, evolve, and multi-task between several competing priorities at once

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required

•3+ years of previous ERP system administration work experience
